Sometimes with a clear goal, driven and determined. Sometimes searching, doubting, and afraid. Sometimes in the best of moods, carefree in the sun. Sometimes heartbroken, strolling and stumbling, with an increasingly heavy backpack. Sometimes in fine company, connected, arm in arm. Sometimes all alone in the peace of nothingness. Sometimes dynamic and full of energy. Sometimes slowly enjoying every step. Sometimes completely in the here and now. Sometimes with thoughts in a distant, distant past. Or dreaming of a distant future. Sometimes at home, under the church tower. Sometimes on unknown paths in unknown countries. But always with music. The royal harmony Rupelzonen is an old young lady, who saw the light of day in 1861 and managed to adapt to changing times without any problems. Today the orchestra has about 60 musicians, more than half younger than 26. The driving force is conductor Johan De Win, a permanent value in the world of brass bands and brass players.
