LR26: 'Perfect Child' – Bila Belachew

A new batch of makers is graduating from our theater department. Come and watch the final works of our final-year Drama: Acting, Directing–Writing and Technical Theatre Design students. In Perfect Child joins forces with Bila Belachew together with Kato Bijvoet, Mayte Martín Díaz, Samy Filali, Jef Sturm and Winter Devoogdt to seek an answer to the question “Should children still be brought into the world in a world where their future seems increasingly less guaranteed?” By following a character who moves between delusion and reality, the viewer ends up in a Horror-Science Fiction performance where question and answer meet. In Perfect Child, Bila Belachew joins forces with Kato Bijvoet, Mayte Martín Díaz, Samy Filali, Jef Sturm and Winter Devoogdt to seek an answer to the question: “Should we still be bringing children into the world in a world where their future seems increasingly uncertain?” By following a character who moves between fantasy and reality, the audience finds themselves in a horror-science fiction performance where question and answer meet.
