The Lobster

The story takes place in a dystopian future where bachelors are arrested and transferred to an eerie hotel. There they are forced to find a suitable partner within 45 days. If they fail to do so, they are turned into an animal and released into the forest. The Lobster (2015) is a wonderfully absurd and surreal picture, but also a moving love story. The story moves effortlessly back and forth from farce to romance.
