What is resistance today?
Does it have to be loud? Or can it whisper?
Does it have to burn? Or can it comfort?
No to chips.
No to toenails.
No to boenke boenk.
No to war.
No to the winter time.
No to dark clouds.
No to the customer service of the energy company.
No to the zipper of your too-expensive jeans that keeps opening.
Resistance against being small.
Resistance against big resistance. Resistance against resistance! Shouldn't we say YES! more?
With small, courageous actions, the players leave a trail of resistance in the city. Poetic gestures. Sentences that hang on bus stops, in waiting rooms, in stairwells. In the performance, everything comes together and you see the precipitation of the small acts of resistance. But you also hear a resistance choir, a collective of voices that screams, whispers, shouts, and hopes that the world hears it. With individual stories, made with and by the Tartaren. Stories that you can follow, touch, hear, and sometimes perhaps carry with you yourself.
Through the city and in the evening, you get to see a kaleidoscope of poetic, collective, and personal acts of resistance. From small to big resistance, an invitation to listen, watch, discover… and perhaps set something in motion yourself.
