Erhan Demirci - Made in Cité

With his fifth evening performance Made in Cité, Erhan Demirci goes a step further in his self-deprecation. He investigates whether we can let go of the importance of things and whether we can still truly laugh with each other. At the same time, this performance is a tribute to his beloved Limburg, where he grew up as a little ‘citérat’ and formed his vision of the world. He looks back on his youth and also casts a surprising look at the future. Erhan Demirci was born in Beringen and grew up in Ham together with his brothers and sisters. During his student years, he already experimented with comedy. His final place at the Culture Comedy Award 2009 and the jury prize of the 123 Comedy Award in 2010 made him a great promise in the Flemish comedy land.
