The barrel of the Eleven O'Clock Masses is far from empty. After a completely sold-out series, Hendrik Vos & ESINAM kick off the new Eleven O'Clock Masses season.\n\nEurope, cradle of democracy: what does it still stand for in 2026? Hendrik Vos gives us an expert look during his sermon. Hendrik teaches European politics at Universiteit Gent and writes columns for De Standaard. He is a regular guest on TV and radio analysis programs and sometimes on less serious broadcasts too. The professor avoids woolly words and therefore won - when he was still young and promising - the Wablieft Prize for Klare Taal, together with VRT journalist Rob Heirbaut. When he is not busy solving world problems, he is on his bike.\n\nEsinam Dogbatse is a Belgian-Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performer who brings together flute, percussion, electronics, and voice in a mesmerizing musical world. Vanuit Afrikaanse rhythms, jazz, and electronic music, she creates layered soundscapes full of groove, improvisation, and poetry. What started as a “one woman band” grew into a full-fledged live band, but the core remains the same: music that moves body and imagination at the same time. Besides her solo work, she has collaborated with artists and projects such as Témé Tan, Kel Assouf, Marockin’ Brass, and Sysmo, and has been featured as a guest musician on releases by, among others, Baloji, Ibaaku, and Jaguar Jaguar.\n\nwww.aubergineartistmanagement.com/artists/esinam\n\nDe Elfurenmissen are a co-production between de VELINX and B-Classic
