Radio Oorwoud has already been on the barricades since 2012. Founded by WWF and Hannelore Bedert, the band grew into a favorite of children and parents alike. The recipe is well-known: sing-alongs that call for action for the environment. Radio Oorwoud, the sharp-tongued regurgitated-pellet orchestra for wild mud otters and muddy wildernesses, is once again fully prepared to tear down the stage in a completely organically responsible manner. What's more, now that there are three CDs with the coolest children's songs on the shelves, a BEAST OFF! is lurking around the corner. Animals of every feather are sung about in the mischievous songs. Nature and its problems are given a loud voice, but one tailored to children... danceable, a little naughty, and full of humor. Expo Het Verborgen Leven van Bomen & Dagprogramma De leisure services of Lebbeke are organizing a fun day program on Tuesday, September 29! Before the performance, we are planning a number of activities and also a visit to the interactive exhibition Het Verborgen Leven van Bomen. You can choose from the following activities: Challenge another team to an exciting game together with the Youth Service. Come and learn everything about the Peace Tree, the Dikke Eik, the Maypoles, and the former Arboretum at the Heritage Department. Make a bird nesting box or an insect hotel together with the Environmental Department. Sing and dance during Nature Score. Visit the Story House of the Library. Make music and learn a song with the Academy. Schedule 8:45 AM: arrival of schools at CC De Biekorf 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM: activity 1 & 2 & visit to the exhibition 12:45 PM: eating sandwiches 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM: free play & visit to the exhibition 1:45 PM: performance 2:45 PM: return to school How to register? Choose three activities per class (a visit to the exhibition is scheduled regardless). Send an email to elien.deroo@lebbeke.be before Friday, June 19. Participation in the day program is only possible if you also register for the performance. Please note, places are limited! After June 19, we will distribute the registered classes and provide the final program to the school's contact person before June 30. The program for each class will consist of two activities and a visit to the exhibition. Provide sufficient supervision on the day of your visit. We will certainly do so as well, but many hands and eyes make it more pleasant for everyone.
