What is life before birth? Why do children come into the world? How did our parents meet? Monsieur Bébé, who was once a baby, imagines where he comes from. He realizes that his dad and mom were themselves little before being big. He replays the game of his origins, on the wire between memories and imagination. In a simple and inventive scenography that unfolds like a pop-up whose pages are turned, a joyful trio of actors revisits, according to their moods, the possible meeting of two young people who, falling in love, would nourish the desire to become parents. This flagship show of the Guimbarde, created in 1997 by Charlotte Fallon, returns 27 years later, reinvented on the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary.
