Almost Summer: DUST / Judith Dhondt & Urtė Groblytė

Zooming in on a moment of speechlessness – a moment when language slips into crisis – DUST opens and unfolds an imaginary world. There are two characters “Hmm” and “Huh” who constantly change shape. Rubbing against language, and at the same time being worn away by it, they drift into a space of intimacy and confusion where they challenge the boundaries of the ‘I’. By overlapping choreography and text, DUST explores transformation and the plural self, with loss and desire as their driving forces. Thus, the performance starts from the question: What does it mean to move or be moved outside ourselves?
