After their collaboration during the Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd Viool 2024, Ruslan Talas and Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort are back on stage together in Knokke-Heist. What grew then under the intense pressure of the Competition, gets all the space on this concert evening to further blossom into a full-fledged recital. Central to the program is the Eerste Sonate for violin and piano by Johannes Brahms, music full of warmth, melancholy and intimate dialogue between violin and piano. Talas and Vanbeckevoort do not choose for outward appearance, but for musical deepening and an interaction that breathes, tells and is perfectly tuned to each other.
