The Blue Trail (2025)

The 77-year-old Tereza, born and raised in an industrial town on the edge of the Amazon, is suddenly ordered to leave her house. The state forces her to move to a so-called ‘senior colony’, a place where the elderly are expected to 'enjoy' their last years so that the young generation can focus entirely on growth and productivity. Maar Tereza does not accept this inhumane measure. Instead of giving up her freedom, she begins a clandestine boat trip through the Amazon. What follows is a journey through lush landscapes full of obstacles, unexpected encounters, and a growing realization that freedom knows no age.
