Comfortably stretched out in a hanging deckchair, with your eyes closed, you make a journey between heaven and earth. The scene is literally filled with heat, rain, wind, deep rumbling, and the scents of plains and deserts. With light, sound, and atmosphere, the young French creator Éric Arnal-Burtschy guides you through a changing landscape. Je suis une montagne is a beautiful reflection on how we relate to nature, and on our transience. It lets the hurried ‘now’ dissolve into something that feels slower, deeper, and unexpectedly comforting. > This performance is part of the 'Bij de buren' (At the neighbors) collaboration and takes place in De Grote Post (Ostend).
