Spotlight on Bel! 20 years of Day of the Trage Weg! Op de Dag of the Trage Weg 2026, this year we are putting the sub-village of Bel (Geel) in the spotlight. On Sunday, October 18, 2026, you can discover the great, pleasant diversity of Bel. We are providing an informative walking route, true to our monthly Trage Wegen walk. Here, it is not just about the Trage Weg itself. All possible connections with the location are explained. The slow path as a connection in itself, landscape, nature, climate benefit from border vegetation, heritage, local history, naming, accessibility, legal status, … In short, everything can be covered! There are 2 options: the classic, signposted route or the guided walk. The signposted route offers everyone the chance to discover the surroundings of Bel all day long, starting from 9:00 AM. With info at characteristic locations. At 2:00 PM, the guided walk starts. Albeit after an introductory word of explanation. If you can, come a bit earlier. We are celebrating 20 years of Day of the Trage Weg with a musical surprise! Where? Starting point is Raak lokaal, Bruul z/n, 2440 Geel (Bel). Distance?
