UNIQUE CONCERT ‘traditional songs from the Argentijnse Andes and original (idiosyncratic) compositions in which folk music and erudite classical guitar meet’ Gitariste Elodie Bouny and the Argentine singer Nadia Larcher will play on July 10 in the orchard of Kasteel Ter Beke in Mariakerke. The proceeds are for the benefit of the non-profit organization Aardigaards, which creates a place where people are Kind and can Ground themselves. Both artists have a strong international career (Europe / LatAm). Elodie Bouny is a French-Brazilian-Bolivian guitarist and composer formed in a classical, erudite European style with an intense Latin American influence. Nadia Larcher is one of the striking voices within the contemporary Argentine music scene. Together they bring an intimate but powerful set with Latin American music and many original compositions — somewhere between tradition and contemporary, with a strong artistic and sometimes political undertone and a lot of humor.
