Art concert with Charlotte Wajnberg

To give even more brilliance to the ongoing exhibition of artist Lander Daniels in gallery De Kunststatie in Mortsel, none other than his good friend Charlotte Wajnberg is offering a free classical concert especially for him. The concert takes place on November 10, 2026 at 8:00 PM in the Saint Benedict Church in Mortsel-Dorp, right next to De Kunststatie. From the sandbox to the stage, artists unite! In times when the cultural sector is coming under increasing pressure, visual artist Lander Daniels (the Six of the Zuidrand, reopening Antwerp City Hall) and soprano Charlotte Wajnberg/Cromheeke (laureate Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd 2018 - winner audience award) join forces. Lander and Charlotte, two former classmates from the region around Meise, found each other again in the Antwerp cultural scene. After developing their own artistic career, they now unite their talent to support each other as artists. Once they played together in the sand as toddlers, now they join forces on an artistic level. Lander's expo ‘Pourri Gâté x Pirates’ can be seen until December 5 in gallery De Kunststatie, Kerkstraat 13 in Mortsel. Woordkunstenaar Arthur Decock (The Gap/SOTA, BROEDfestival) already opened the exhibition with a witty, inspiring text. After the performance of Charlotte Wajnberg, accompanied on the piano by her husband Aaron Wajnberg, the audience will get the opportunity to visit Lander's exhibition over a glass. This concert is free, but to be able to cover expenses such as rent of the church, the stage, and the piano, the organizers ask for a free contribution. How to (compulsorily) register for this concert? Send an email to peetersbert@telenet.be and state your name and the number of people (max. 4 per email address) who will attend the concert. The (unreserved) seats will be confirmed via email. Tickets are available while supplies last.
