KLAAS - Terrace concert

“KLAAS”, that is Klaas Delrue, the singer and frontman of Yevgueni. Under nothing more or less than his first name, he wants to make himself heard solo again in 2026. The solo album “Tijd voor mij” (release March 27, 2026) has deliberately become a ‘small record’ on which KLAAS explicitly wanted to put the singer-songwriter and the 'bedroom-singer’ in himself to the fore. “Both the album and the performances will be honest, moving and straight to the point.” KLAAS chose Dutch this time (unlike his previous solo adventure in 2014). For the simple reason that this record had to be as personal as possible. You can interpret “Tijd voor mij” that way. But also as a very scarce commodity for the father of now 9- and 7-year-old daughters. Live, he goes completely “back to the essence”. Alone on stage. With his 10 new songs that require no more than a voice, a guitar and some decorations. With the stories behind them. With homages to his heroes. And undoubtedly a few solo versions of Yevgueni gems. Anyone who has ever seen or heard it knows that it works. And that it will be special. In good weather, the performance will take place as an atmospheric terrace concert in the courtyard of Pachthof Stroykens. In less favorable weather conditions, an alternative will be provided. In collaboration with the municipality Tervuren Dit concert is part of a series of cultural activities that CC De Warandepoort is organizing in collaboration with the municipality of Tervuren in the sub-municipalities.
