Waldersee is a well-preserved example of a resistance nest on the Atlantic Wall.\n\nYou can see gun emplacements, machine gun and observation posts, positions for anti-tank guns, bunkers, and accommodation for troops. Some structures are rare and do not occur anywhere else along the Belgian coast. Trenches ensured that part of the defensive works were connected to each other.
