Reveil

Together with numerous other municipalities, we are also organizing a Reveil Troostconcert on November 1st. Local musicians, poets, and storytellers paid tribute there around sunset at the cemetery to the people we have to miss. This year, Joke Lefevere, Kaatje, and Sofie Devoghel are working together to transform the chapel of INOA handzame (Saint Jan de Deo) into a warm and comforting place, where music and word come together. Joke reads poems and texts that let us pause for a moment, to then gently push us upright again. Kaatje and Sofie weave their voices and music through it: sounds that comfort, carry, remember. Thus, a short hour of closeness is created. Just in need of some company? Then come by and enjoy the cozy atmosphere, the delicious coffee, and nice chats!
