Ode to Mother Nature

Violinist Sylvia Huang has been inspired by nature since her childhood and is fascinated by its beauty, its cycles and its subtle harmony. She also aims to highlight its vulnerability through her Ode to Mother Nature project, in collaboration with WWF Belgium. Each piece in this concert highlights a different aspect of one of the seasons and the deep connection between music and nature. Through this music, Sylvia invites us to appreciate the connection between people and their environment as well as the urgent need to protect it. Pianist Boris Kusnezow accompanies her on this musical journey, which celebrates the seasons with works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Lili Boulanger, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Camille Pépin, Eugène Ysaÿe and Gabriel Dupont.
