In the spring and autumn of 2026, actor Ben Segers ('Safety First', 'Dealer') and musician Manu Huylebroeck will tour both psychiatric facilities and cultural centers with the Te Gek!? Open Geest music theater performance ‘Lonely without me’. 'Lonely without me' is a poignant musical performance in which actor Ben Segers shares his personal story. It is a journey that begins with years of denial and hiding his feelings - from the outside world, but especially from himself - and ends with the courageous step toward self-acceptance. Together with musician Manu Huylebroeck, Ben brings an intimate and moving performance full of testimonies, music, and inspired moments. They tell, play, and sing - together, well-surrounded. Because right there, in that shared humanity, the real recovery began. What makes this tour unique is that the performances mainly take place in psychiatric centers and facilities.
