SAUS & BOENK! join forces Two collectives, one evening, one stage. SAUS & BOENK! join forces for an evening full of spontaneous silliness on two sticks. SAUS is an improv collective that found each other within Theatersport, the competitive form of improvisational theater. Where they normally compete against another team in a competition format, for this performance they are working for the first time on a performance format without an opponent. They like to play about the small things in life and make them grand and theatrical. Are you dreaming or are you watching a show by BOENK!? Who can say? Boenk! goes in all directions: comical, absurd, abstract, or just very sincere and quiet. And sometimes all mixed up. The show grows like a mind map: one idea branches out to the next, stories return, cross each other, or let go of each other. No straight line, but a cozy fever dream!
