In 2026, Hildur Guðnadóttir celebrates 20 years of artistic creation with a new orchestral performance. Twenty years after her first solo album Mount A (2006), she presents a selection of her best-loved works, complemented by new compositions and live lighting design by Theresa Baumgartner.
The Icelandic composer, cellist, and singer sits at the crossroads of experimental pop and contemporary music. Her work explores a wide sonic palette, from intimate simplicity to layered soundscapes. She has gained international acclaim with her award-winning film scores and the music for the series Chernobyl.
For her debut at DE SINGEL, she shares the stage with BRYGGEN. The programme includes her soundtracks for Tárand Joker, new arrangements from her albums, and new work.
