Canal Pride Mechelen

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Mechelen will make history. For the first time, we will sail with a Pride along the beautiful Binnendijle, and HLWM and Stad Mechelen are organizing the very first Pride on the water in Belgium together. A unique first for our city and our country. A day full of connection, visibility, love, and pride, where everyone is welcome. PROGRAM 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Canal Pride on the Binnendijle Versierde boats, colorful participants, music, and an unforgettable trip through the heart of Mechelen. DJ Kat provides the atmosphere while the Binnendijle buzzes with energy. Do you want to experience this historic first edition from the water? For €10 per person, you can dance on one of our party boats or sail along in a canoe. You can find all the info below. 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Openlucht Pride Party – Haverwerf Na we will continue to celebrate the voyage at the Haverwerf. DJ Kat will once again provide the best beats, and we also have a surprise act in store that you do not want to miss.
