Heathland walk

Natuurpunt Hechtel-Eksel invites you to explore a unique piece of nature. Flanders is cramped and built up. Yet, in rare places, there are still truly open landscapes where you won't spot a trace of habitation or human activity even with binoculars, but where a field of view of wild natural beauty is bestowed upon you. We seek that kind of experience during a somewhat adventurous trip on the military domain in Hechtel. Come breathe and admire a heathland area in an authentic and protected piece of Limburgse Kempen. For this walk, we need a permit, which will be requested.
