Motives Festival 2026 conquers de VELINX: Four days of Belgian jazz, groundbreaking talent, and international vibes. A fine selection of Belgian jazz. The third edition of the nomadic Motives Festival will be an XL version and chooses de VELINX as its backdrop. No fewer than ten Belgian bands and a family performance will get a full place at the festival. Motives Festival comes from the kitchen of Motives For Jazz, an organization that has been providing a varied jazz scene in Limburg since 1997. Motives for Jazz brings a balanced mix of accessible jazz, adventurous avant-garde, and crossovers, with young talent and established names. Motives Festival is the annual apotheosis of this operation, which visits a different fascinating location in the province each time. Immerse yourself in the best that Belgian jazz has to offer, with special attention to Limburg talent. In previous years, Carlo Nardozza, Tim Finoulst, The Guru Guru, Sam Vloemans & Dishwasher, among others, performed. Edition '26 will be extra special due to an intense collaboration with Belgium Booms x JazzLab. This program for the promotion of our national jazz attaches its culture wagon to a renowned jazz festival every year and takes care of four stage spots with the help of an international jury.
