We start as it should: free and full of energy. We open our doors to everyone who wants to stretch their dancing legs, from the neighborhood or from further away, young or old, everyone is welcome. At the campsite, we cast the first bass lines with Anahata Soundsystem and Mediroot. From 6 PM, you get a unique opportunity on our cozy festival grounds to discover the pure Jamaican soundsystem vibe. Het Brusselse 54 Sound will provide deep bass and conscious vinyl selections all evening and night. An atmosphere that you not only hear, but can also feel. At In de Lion’s Den Festivaltent, you can meanwhile enjoy the rousing grooves of Kokonuts and live concerts by Arky Starch (the winner of our vi.be contest), Rasolution (known from, among others, the opening act of the Metejoor concerts in the Lotto Arena) and the Geelse Mood Collector (the best guarantee for a danceable party you can imagine). In short, Kortemark Congé is not a warm-up, but a powerful kick-off of three days of roots and bass.
