Discover the anatomical theater and the study of the human body
In this striking octagonal building from 1744, you can discover a piece of university history to cherish.
You can visit the building freely throughout the day, and inside you can also find an exhibition about its architect, Jacobus Anthonius Hustin. Through plans, old documents, and images, you will get to know this versatile Leuven native who helped shape the city in the 18th century.
There are also guided tours to follow. During this tour under the dome of Rega, you will discover how students received lessons here around the dissection table and how the medical campus developed further.
