Bar Bardo - Completely

Bardo literally means "between two" in Tibetan Buddhism and refers to a transitional state or intermediate state, often the period between death and rebirth. But you can also read bardo psychologically. Every transition (of job, life phase, conviction, relationship...) is then a mini-death and mini-rebirth. In Bar Bardo welcome a mysterious waiter and two cynical regulars a number of random visitors. Slowly it dawns on the new guests where they come from and where they have ended up. They are only allowed to leave when the bill has been paid, a compelling moment of self-reflection. An introspection that leads to confusion, conflicts, and agonizing choices.
