Lara Taveirne is, besides being a writer of novels such as ‘Wolf’, ‘Pluto’, and ‘De kinderen van Calais’, also a theater maker and teacher. For her, language is the perfect means to bring memories back to life – a way to make the past tangible and hold onto it. Her most recent work, Wolf, tells the poignant story of her brother who disappeared without a trace in 2012.
