A circus theater performance in which waste steals the show…
In WEG ERMEE (AWAY WITH IT), four acrobats fall out of the sky and end up in the middle of a garbage dump, among old stuffed animals, broken toasters and empty bottles – things that no one wants anymore. Just like those things, they too have been cast aside. In this visual, wordless performance, the acrobats discover that cast-offs often still burst with possibilities.
With spectacular acrobatics, humor and a good dose of imagination, they build a new, brightly colored world together from everything others have thrown away. They discover that not only objects, but also people deserve a second chance. In this way, the acrobats show that ‘being different’ is not a weakness, but rather a strength. And that sustainability doesn't have to be boring at all.
