The explosive cosmos

Explosive phenomena are responsible for the way the universe looks today, and not all of these events occur on a large scale. The evolution of the universe has not spared even the most elementary particles. In this performance, we follow the path of one of these particles, a proton, which participates in the most astonishing phenomena in nature. It is a story of destruction and creation: from supernovae and colliding black holes to supervolcanoes and colliding protons. This performance takes us to the most extreme conditions in the cosmos! A visit takes about 1.5 hours and consists of the planetarium performance above, followed by a projection of the starry sky, a visit to the telescopes in the observation tower, and the exhibition space of Cozmix.
