The fort of Liezele is the best preserved of the armored fort belt (1906) but the village was totally destroyed in 1914 as a precaution. We explore the surrounding landscape of the Molenbeek valley which shows us an intact, centuries-old spatial structure, with much variation between open and closed perspectives. Our fixed meeting place is at the small park Luithagenlaan/Jozef Hermanslei with departure at 1:30 PM. Walk approx. 8 km; everyone is welcome. Participation is free; travel with your own transport or cost-sharing fellow passenger. In collaboration with UiTPAS. ,
