Fourteen-year-old Lucia falls in love with seventeen-year-old Giacomo Casanova at a party near Venice. They are each other's first great love and promise eternal fidelity. Shortly thereafter, Lucia disappears from his life without a word. How is it that we now know Casanova as the greatest lover of all time? Was it a holiday romance that had to be forgotten?
