In the big ‘Death why Death’ show, a Master of Ceremony leads us through everything that has to do with death: famous last words, a condolence rally, Death itself as a guest, and invitees who let their talents crackle from the afterlife. Parallel to this absurdist spectacle, an imminent loss slips in irreversibly elsewhere. What do you do with the time that is left? How do you say goodbye and how should things continue? Where on earth has the manual for this gone? ‘Death why Death’ is a performance where the love for life is more palpable than ever. Full of playfulness and humor that relativizes nothing, the actors make the great themes of life bearable. Ilse de Koe (Studio Orka, ‘Bevergem’) and Julie Delrue (Studio Orka, ‘Mamamanie’, ‘Chantal’) join forces for this project with Hendrik Van Doorn (TG Ceremonia, Het KIP).
