Summer quest: cycling with sun and wind

Together with Ecopower and Volterra, Natuurpunt is organizing a varied summer cycling tour. Enjoy the nature reserves and sustainable energy projects in Eeklo and Waarschoot. Solve the questions along the way and maybe you will be the winner of a family visit to the Ecopower cooperative wind turbine at the Huysmanhoeve! The cycling route is 28 kilometers (shortened version: 18 kilometers). The route is not signposted (only at the Zonnewindfeest on Sunday, July 5), but you can download the route map with info and the GPS tracks at www.NPMeetjesland.be/zonnewindfeest. You can also download the competition form there. You can cycle the route on a day of your choice. If you want to participate in the competition, you must submit the form by September 1 at the latest. The paper version of the route folder is available in limited quantities at various locations in Eeklo and Kaprijke (check the website).
