On the occasion of the Bicentennial of the Butte du Lion, the photographers of the Photo Club Riva Bella have chosen to take a different look at this iconic landmark of our region.
Beyond the well-known historical image, this exhibition offers another way of seeing the Butte: through details, lights, seasons, unexpected perspectives, and the emotion of each gaze.
Each photograph conveys a personal point of view, a sensitivity, a unique interpretation of this monument steeped in history.
Our desire is not only to show the Butte du Lion, but to reveal it differently, far from classic images and usual souvenirs.
This exhibition is above all an invitation: to take the time to look differently at a place one thinks they know.
