Do we still need to introduce Raymond Van Het Groenewoud? The Dutch-language songwriter and singer who moved to Bruges is a true Belpop monument. With indestructible classics like ‘Je Veux de l’Amour’, ‘Vlaanderen Boven’, ‘Liefde voor Muziek’ and ‘Twee Meisjes’ he is one of the most famous Belgian artists. Raymond continues to enchant young and old with his unique combination of rock and poetry.
Earlier this year, for his 75th birthday, Raymond released the LP Box ‘Archivaris’, in which he looks back on his long and diverse career. The accompanying tour with his band brings him to a mercilessly sold-out Concertgebouw in the spring. But anyone who missed out on a ticket or wants to hear Raymond perform his greatest hits again is in luck with a second chance, and on the most beautiful square in 'his' city at that.
This concert takes place in the open air. In case of bad weather, we will move to the Brugse Stadsschouwburg. Ticket holders will be notified on the day of the concert.
