Franky is a one-legged MMA fighter from Antwerp. In the cage, he takes on opponents with two legs in official full-contact fights. Without a prosthesis. Without concessions. His unorthodox style, brute strength and boundless drive have earned him the respect of both fighters and fans. Remarkably enough, he says he now feels stronger than when he still had two legs. But behind the fighter stands a man who is struggling with more than just his opponents. Long before the accident in which he lost his leg, Franky was already trapped in a downward spiral of wrong choices and prison sentences. MMA became his escape, his anchor, his obsession.
