Haar Wuthering Heigts is as bold and original as it is compelling. Fennell's horny sentimentality makes one yearn for more stories that break with film history. For stories in which a female gaze, despite the candy colors and tight corsets, is taken seriously. Stories that show what pop culture is capable of, even if they have to destroy Woeste Hoogten for it.
