About the company Cirque Mécanique is a young player in the Flemish circus landscape, but builds on more than twenty years of experience of founder Joris Janssens. After his adventures at Ell Circo D’ell Fuego and De Machienerie, he brings his passion for mechanics and circus together in his own creative studio. Joris combines three expertise areas: acrobat, teacher, and builder. As a specialist in bascule acrobatics, he performed internationally, taught at renowned training programs, and built circus installations for companies and schools at home and abroad. Met Cirque Mécanique he translates that experience into poetic circus installations in which wood, metal, movement, and imagination strengthen each other. More info
