The celebrated film director Esteban Martínez is a legend, both for his films and for his past, which is characterized by violence and excesses. For his new project, he offers his daughter Emilia a role, ostensibly to breathe new life into her stalled acting career. Living together on the film set creates a bond that they haven't had for years, but also opens old wounds that have never healed. Sorogoyen began his career with political thrillers, but switched with Madre and Las bestias to more intimate stories full of tension and emotional charge.
