Fifteen-year-old Malou grows up in a small municipality where she excels at the local rowing club. Her mother is often absent, and she feels excluded within the rowing team. Only with her brother Max can she truly be herself. When Wanneer Malou develops feelings for his girlfriend Nouria, she becomes entangled in a confusing love triangle. In a summer full of longing and rivalry, Malou is tossed back and forth between family and the search for her own identity. To fully embrace herself, she will have to make choices that put her bond with Max at risk.
