Lactissimo Exhibition

Mother's milk, cheese, skyr, the Milky Way: milk is deeper in our lives than you think. This expo in the Molenmuseum starts from that one word and follows it everywhere. Since when do humans drink milk? Where does it come from? And what does it mean in other cultures, from the Balkans to Africa and Asia? The plant-based and lactose-free milk of today is also covered. After the expo, we will raise a glass together. We will make a milk dessert on the spot, exchange recipes, and challenge you with a milk quiz. The winner goes home with tasty milk.
