Rachid Ouramdane / Compagnie de Chaillot
Danse, circus, extreme sports | French hosting
A moment of suspended grace, all in weightlessness.
What drives a human being to defy gravity, even at the cost of taking immeasurable risks? To always go higher, to feel the intoxication of the peaks, despite the fear of heights? By wanting to get too close to the sun, one ends up burning their wings. Corps extrêmes is a dizzying experience for which French choreographer Rachid Ouramdane invites two iconic enthusiasts of extreme practices, highliner Nathan Paulin and an exceptional climber. So close to flight and surrounded by eight dancers, they offer us a hybrid and striking performance.
Propelled by music and pushing boundaries, these extraordinary adventurers traverse walls, heights, and landscapes. They reveal their strength and audacity as well as their acute sensitivity and carnal vulnerability. Free in the face of the void, do we not find ourselves face to face with ourselves?
A family moment during which poetry, philosophy, and prowess dialogue.
Family show for ages 10 and up – Duration: 1h
