Winter is back and the Damse Vaart looks tempting. Marcel has arranged to go ice skating with his good friend Theo. When Wanneer Theo unexpectedly has to drop out, a surprising alternative presents itself. Together with Regine, Theo's wife, he ventures onto the ice for a ride that goes differently than planned. Theo must not find out what happened along the way, but Regine can confide her secret to her best friend Colette. That does not mean, however, that her friend is prepared to lay her own cards on the table… Small lies grow into large complications and for several people involved, the ice under their feet threatens to become dangerously thin. In this delightful comedy, surprises follow one another in rapid succession and nothing is what it seems anymore.
