Later, she found her second home in Germany, where she discovered the splendor of the landscapes around Tegernsee and Bavarian traditions – two worlds that define her current artistic vision. Her background is based on a solid academic foundation, initiated at the General School of Art and continued at the Constantin Brăiloiu High School of Music and Fine Arts in her hometown. She also holds a Master's degree in polychrome wood restoration from Sibiu, which is reflected in the particular attention she pays to detail, painting, and the expressiveness of her style. Her works are mainly created on canvas, using acrylics, oils, structural pastes, and various materials such as leather or textiles. Stylistically, she blends realism, expressionism, and abstraction. The works presented in this exhibition were already exhibited earlier this year in Germany, where they received recognition from the regional cultural magazine and the artists' union of which she is a member. "The majority of the works are figurative female portraits of simple and authentic beauty. Andrada Ababei explains that her grandmother served as her model and inspiration, considering her the most beautiful of women. These portraits, through their proximity, introspection, and strong expressiveness, highlight the artist's talent. They also testify to her return to her Romanian roots, as both the costumes and the traditional headpieces are inspired by Romanian tradition. The painting is complemented by relief structures, applied by projection or drawn in lines, creating a fascinating contrast between the classically executed portraits and modern expression techniques. The artist became known in the Tegernsee valley (Germany) thanks to her series initially titled "Fusion", then later renamed "Hybrid". These works showcase deep connections between human beings, tradition, and nature. In them, the artist combined human bodies dressed in traditional Bavarian costumes with animal heads typical of the region. Today, through her artistic approach, she is making a true return to her Romanian homeland."
