On July 11, it will be pleasantly busy again during Begijnendijk Feest!
With this annual festival, the municipality wants to not only celebrate the Flemish holiday, but also bring residents and visitors together. Moreover, admission is completely free, which means everyone is warmly welcome to come and celebrate on Saturday, July 11, in the center of Begijnendijk.
From 5 PM, everyone can enjoy an evening full of music, atmosphere, and togetherness. Between singing and dancing, you can also have something to drink or eat at the stalls.
Program:
First on stage is local singer-songwriter Joske, who will perform her own Dutch-language songs, supplemented with quirky covers of well-known hits. With her warm voice and sensitive, accessible pop and cabaret style, she effortlessly knows how to create an intimate atmosphere and touch the audience.
After that, it is the turn of Bobby Prins, an established name in the Flemish schlager world, who guarantees a series of recognizable classics.
As a closer, cover band Save The Date will take you on a musical journey through time. Think of the swing of the 60s, the groove of the 80s, the power of 90s rock, and the beats of the hits of today – all brought with a fresh, energetic live show that will make you dance and sing along.
Begijnendijk Feest is organized in collaboration with Vlaanderen Feest! (an initiative of the non-profit organization Flanders-Europe and the Flemish government).
