The fragile electronics of Niels Orens’s latest EP Never Again and the raw avant-pop of TJE’s debut album SCHADE melt together in Club Wintercircus. Together they take over Club Wintercircus for an evening that balances on the cutting edge between organic emotion and pulsating electronics. Both acts have previously performed at De Koer, now they return to take over Club Wintercircus completely. The evening is opened by electronic producer and live performer Niels Orens. Orens is known for his boundary-pushing soundscapes in which he morphs acoustic instruments with analog synthesis and deep breakbeats. With his recently released Never Again EP under his arm, he translates themes like isolation and melancholy into a physical, immersive live experience. Expect a bewitching trip that switches between fragile, introspective silences and intense, deep bass lines. Following this is TJE, the Belgian trio that, after a podium spot in Humo’s Rock Rally and an impressive festival summer (e.g., Best Kept Secret, Lokerse Feesten), is well on its way to an international breakthrough. Armed with their brand new debut record SCHADE, according to the press the album to watch this year, TJE brings an elusive melting pot of melancholic avant-pop, experimental post-rock, and pulsating electronics. Frontvrouw Lindy Versyck bewitches the audience with her voice (think of a dreamy yet threatening Björk), supported by a wall of hypnotizing bass and guitar lines. Two acts that each in their own way seek out the tension between intensity and vulnerability. TJE After TJE has worked its way up to talk of the town in its own country over the past year, the Belgian trio is aiming for nothing less than an international breakthrough this year. Undoubtedly going to help with that: debut record SCHADE, according to, among others, De Morgen one of the albums of 2026. TJE consists of Lindy Versyck (vocals), Melvin Slabbinck (guitar, drums) and Klaas Leyssen (bass), who, besides TJE, also explore other musical horizons: Versyck regularly appears with Arsenal and Meltheads, Slabbinck drums with Kaat Van Stralen and Leyssen leads punk rock band The Yummy Mouths. Add to that: Pieter-Jan Decraene, who as co-writer and producer is an important link in the creative process and can safely be called the fourth band member. Together they fuse their musical backgrounds and influences into a unique sound that is as infectious as it is indefinable. At the intersection of intense and vulnerable, TJE sounds as raw as it is layered, in search of tension between melody and experiment. Balancing between electronics, melancholic avant-pop, and experimental post-rock, with a focus on atmosphere and emotion. A melting pot that works and live results in an intense, hypnotizing, and memorable trip. Just ask, among others, Best Kept Secret, Lokerse Feesten, Reeperbahn, Fifty Lab and Left of the Dial, where they each gave an impressive performance in 2025. The story of TJE began in 2023 with EP IDOLS and took off a few months later with a third place in Humo’s Rock Rally. The first foreign steps were taken and after a successful passage at showcase festival Focus Wales, a mini-tour through the UK was added. Singles ‘This Is’ and ‘Always Hardening’ (both also on the album) pave the way to Radio 1 and StuBru, influential indie stations in France/Netherlands and streamers, and TJE makes the Spotify cover of Indie Update. Their hypnotizing bass, pulsating electronics, and the bewitching voice of Versyck, which holds the middle between a dreamy/threatening Björk and FKA Twigs, are well-received. With a minimum of instruments, TJE achieves a maximum of impact and explores the boundaries of the instruments, in search of dissonance and musical friction. It succeeds brilliantly on a debut that will help color 2026. NIELS ORENS Niels Orens is a Belgian producer and live performer who seamlessly blurs the boundaries between acoustic instruments and electronic production. In his music, it is not about traditional song structures, but about a deep focus on texture, spatiality, and layered sound design. By distorting organic sounds with synthesizers and processing, he creates compelling soundscapes influenced by breakbeat and deep bass. The result? Electronic music that is both physically palpable and deeply human. His artistic path is closely linked to electronic great Max Cooper. What started as an internship led to a contribution to whose album Unspoken Words and a key role in the prestigious SEME project — a modern, electronic reinterpretation of classic Italian music that could be heard in, among others, the Londense Barbican and at the Salzburg Easter Festival. In early 2025, Orens sealed this collaboration with a feature on Cooper's album On Being. In addition, in 2025 he composed the soundtrack for the theater production Inhale Delirium Exhale van Miet Warlop together with Soulwax, in which he also played live. As a live artist, Orens has built a rock-solid reputation over the past few years with some 50 shows spread across Europe. He shared the stage with resounding names like Forest Swords, Rival Consoles and Weval. After a successful Belgian tour with his audiovisual live show in 2024, the absolute milestones followed in 2025: a sold-out headline show in the AB Club in Brussels and two sold-out concerts in the Amsterdamse Concertgebouw during ADE. \"Orens is at the crossroads of experimental electronics, deep basses, and breakbeat. Inspired by acts like Yves Tumor, Burial, and James Holden, he translates themes like loneliness and inner turmoil into broken breakbeats, an intense bass pressure, and fragile melodies. It is elusive, genre-crossing music that effortlessly balances raw intensity with moments of serene silence.
