Madou Kouyaté is the son of Bassekou Kouyaté, grandmaster on the ngoni (West African lute). They first gained international fame with their sublime album ‘Ladilikan’, on which they collaborated with the legendary Kronos Quartet from San Francisco. In January 2018, the trio played an album presentation in our blue hall. On their new album ‘Bagola’, they present newly composed songs that let their enchanting and unique sound be heard, which is only matched by their magical performances.
