Three acrobatic players try to stay standing, literally and figuratively, while the ground shifts beneath their feet. To stay upright, they constantly adapt. Running, tumbling, and swaying, they try to stay on their feet. They cling to each other, to an edge, or to the hand of a spectator.
Between flying, sliding, falling, and catching, they try to find a new balance. Should they strive for control? Or just learn to wobble very well?
SKRAM is a musical circus theater experience by Hanne Vandersteen and Mahlu Mertens, founders of Grensgeval. It is an ode to the courage to wobble, to take risks, to fail, and to get back up.
